The Marketing Operations Specialist will be a key member of the YapStone Field Operations team responsible for creating and executing demand generation programs in Marketo for the Sales team. Ideal candidates have a background in Marketing automation, and an ability to balance multiple competing priorities with cross functional teams. Candidates must have technical ability and hands-on knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will possess both right and left-brain skills; with the ability to develop creative solutions to marketing challenges and then execute flawlessly. This role will intensely collaborate with cross-functional Yapstone teams and then focus on executing Sales strategies to support traditional and digital marketing initiatives, lead generation programs, and Sales.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Marketing analytics programs to ensure high return on our Marketing investments

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide detailed tracking of Marketing programs across various channels as well as measure, monitor, and optimize the funnel from inquiry to MQL to closed opportunity; proactively communicate insights and results out to key stakeholders in the organization.

  • Manage and deliver Marketing insights and analytics capabilities through Salesforce.com and various business intelligence tools

  • Responsible for data integrity, data acquisition, cleanliness, normalization and completeness

  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams in the end-to-end execution of campaigns in Marketo to drive demand generation

  • Collaborate extensively with the demand generation teams on campaign strategy, creative, targeting, optimization, execution and reporting

  • Partner with Sales Operations on lead management process, development and execution of lead nurturing, scoring and routing to ensure the highest lead qualification conversions

  • Manage complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners

Requirements

  • •Passion for and experience in Sales or Marketing

  • 5-8 years of industry experience leading Marketing analytics, preferably at a fast-paced start-up

  • 5+ years of experience developing insights using analytics tools and extracting insights from data

  • Self-motivated, “can-do” attitude with strong work ethic; no project too big or too small

  • Ability to think creatively, problem-solve and keep the ball moving forward

  • Excellent organization, communication and writing skills – attention to detail is a must

  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com

  • Experience with Marketo and demand generation programs

  • BA / BS degree required

  • Hands-on, results-driven, with a bias towards action and a strong track record of success

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Self-starter, who needs little hand-holding and can get up to speed quickly
