Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market vision and success metrics for new products and ongoing marketing initiatives

  • Define the product positioning, value proposition, and benefits for product releases globally

  • Responsible for gathering customer insights and feedback for the Product team to influence the roadmap/prioritization of potential product changes.

  • Understanding and communicating all upcoming product feature and user experience changes to key stakeholders (Customers, Partners, Sales, Operations, Legal etc.)

  • Working cross-functionally, ensure product messaging and strategies are aligned and effective. Own positioning and messaging, driving the organization to deliver clear reasons to believe, for multiple existing and new offerings

  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to increase adoption

  • Understand and stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and sector activity

  • Compile serviceability assessments to identify gaps and provide feedback to product and engineering. Project manage serviceability of products through entire lifecycle.

  • Develop deep domain expertise in new markets and products, and devise operating strategies to meet market demands

Requirements

  • Bachelor's’ degree required. Specialization in Marketing preferred.

  • 6-10 years of well-rounded product marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on marketing expansion, product positioning and partner and client engagement.

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team of direct reports. A hands-on collaborative style of working is a must!

  • Demonstrated experience in gathering, analyzing and synthesizing business requirements from multiple sources for effective translation into a platform/product vision

  • Have experience influencing cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders

  • Highly skilled at messaging & positioning

  • Strong strategic thinker who can craft a great compelling story

  • Quick learner who can go in-depth on payments and become a product expert as well

  • History of working with and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated track record of strong execution and delivery

  • Vertical market subject matter expert (Rent, Dues, Vacation, Storage, Inn, ParishPay, HomeAway)

  • Customer insight driven decision maker who loves to meet customers
