Yapstone is looking for a Senior Product Manager!


Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the product strategy to enhance settlement capabilities and offer new methods to disburse funds to Yapstone’s merchants.

  • Assist in making the business case for appropriate investment levels for new payout and settlement features and functionality based on payment best practices, trends in payments technology, and Yapstone’s strategic goals.

  • Contribute to the entire product life cycle from concept through planning to development and supporting activities for existing and new payout and settlement products.

  • Identify and manage key customers and assess their requirements and key business processes for inclusion into the product roadmap.

  • Design end-to-end solutions and application enhancements to support new payout and settlement products.

  • Assist in delivering a product roadmap for both internal and external consumption with business and customer feedback to validate the feature releases.

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholder up to C level and align on clear, actionable product strategies and priorities.

  • Deliver Product Requirements, Agile user stories with prioritized features while assessing workflow needed.

  • Drive business issue resolution and provide functional clarifications to development team.

  • Optimize and improve existing features and functionality to increase penetration within a large, rapidly growing user base.

  • Identify and empathize with customer pain points and always seek to deliver products, features, and extensions which acutely address their needs.

  • 8-10 years of experience in product management supporting a high growth technology or payments company.

  • Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and building strong relationships within business and technical stakeholders.

  • Past experience building or enhancing merchant or acquirer payments systems with an emphasis on settlement and disbursement vehicles.

  • Past experience with original credit transactions (OCT), net settlement, and/or other various types of settlement and merchant payouts.

  • Past experience using tools such as Jira, Wiki, and Rally

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Systems, Accounting Computer Science or equivalent

  • Past experience as a Product owner leading complex projects in an Agile environment, CSPO a plus.-

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in product management supporting a high growth technology or payments company.

  • Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and building strong relationships within business and technical stakeholders.

  • Past experience building or enhancing merchant or acquirer payments systems with an emphasis on settlement and disbursement vehicles.

  • Past experience with original credit transactions (OCT), net settlement, and/or other various types of settlement and merchant payouts.

  • Past experience using tools such as Jira, Wiki, and Rally
