We’re looking for a product manager to take YapStone’s Client Portal to the next level – Develop the new portal to enable and empower our clients in the new Global Platform. Our ability to effectively manage our client needs is key to our ongoing success and allows the company to make bold bets while maintaining a delightful and painless user experience. The role demands a deep background in product management, developing UI & API based portals, ability to operate in a highly technical environment, leadership skills, work collaboratively across many stakeholders, and killer puzzle-solving and intuition.
Innovation – own product concepts from inception to launch and through full product lifecycle.
Lifecycle Management – understand key product KPIs, client needs and market developments to expand and drive specific products.
Product Creation -- develop detailed requirements in the form of user stories and work with Engineering to execute on new and existing products.
Collaborate -- work closely with a cross-functional team members of Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Risk, Customer Support, API/UX Design to think boldly and creatively to ideate and execute on product ideas.
Forecast -- create business cases and clearly communicate product’s vision, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences.
Measure -- set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals. Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into product development process.
Experiment – conceptualize new products and solutions to meet currently unmet market needs.
5+ years experience delivering highly successful Fin-Tech products.
Functional product management experience; specifically, being able to work with APIs, UI/UX, system diagrams and to write functional requirements to be utilized by a development team to build relevant technology.
Experience with payments from an acquiring perspective. This could include working with acquirers, as a merchant or another entity to facilitate credit card, debit card, ACH or Alternative Payment methods between a seller and a buyer.
An undergraduate degree or equivalent in computer science or hands-on software engineering and/or data science experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
