The Corporate IT Engineering Lead at Yapstone is recognized as an expert in their area with broad subject matter expertise and can use practical experience to contribute to the development of the companies’ objectives and empower end users to leverage technical services in a secure manner. This is a hands-on role and responsible for the leading the design, implementation, administration and maintenance of Corporate IT services. Reporting to the Director of Corporate IT, the Engineering lead will lead and mentor by example and provide technical leadership by partnering business stakeholders to develop on-premises and cloud solutions to meet operational goals for high availability, performance, stability, security and cost efficiency.
Architect, implement and configure Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units.
Experienced in Cloud technologies AWS and Azure.
Drive the execution of the next generation of Azure Active Directory (AAD) technologies, including owning the overall roadmap.
Securely manage authentication and authorization solutions for on-premise and cloud solutions.
Work across business and IT teams to analyze and define requirements for Active Directory & Azure Active Directory integrations using LDAP, SAML and OAuth.
Effectively liaise with other teams in information security & risk management, infrastructure & architecture management as well as business functions to deliver the target technology environment and contribute to IT objectives.
Experience in System Configuration Management Platforms for physical and virtual Windows and MacOS deployment solutions (SCCM, InTune, etc).
Practical experience with Zero Touch deployment tools and methodologies.
Lead the management of all desktops, laptop, audio visual and other related hardware and software support activities in a corporate office environment.
The position provides mentorship as Level 3 resolution/escalation/tracking of requests for desktop support via phone, and at the customer's desk.
Maintains daily tickets and reports to ensure the highest service levels are maintained.
Provides basic training and support for design and administrative team members.
Collaborate and communicates with architects with internal departments and vendor partners.
Provide technical assistance outside of normal business hours as needed.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent of 8 years of related experience.
System Administration within a corporate environment containing Active Directory (AD) and/or Azure Domain services.
Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems ranging from Windows 2008 to Windows 2022.
Implementation and Management of System Configuration Management for on-premise and remote environments.
Experienced in the implementation of Identity Platforms like Okta.
Understanding of the components within LAN/WAN networks to include network connectivity and remote access technology.
Experience in working in an Office 365, ZenDesk, SalesForce and other SaaS applications.
Working with Mac OSX in an AD environment and Mac troubleshooting skills.
Develops and produces installation documentation for the most complex applications.
Positive attitude, highly motivated with customer service orientation
Strong oral and written communication skills.
